Day 5: The Adventures of Kayla and Lucy

  Miss Lucy seems to have finally hit a funk today. She was actually relatively quiet the first four days. Mostly just wanting to cuddle with a bit of playing here and there. Things even went better with her staying in her bed last night. But this morning started the random barking, and whining, and if you knew Lucy you would know that unless playing barking is rare and whining more so. I think she's in a bit of a funk, missing the family, and mad that it's too cold outside to stay out long enough to play. I'm sure only seeing me for the past four of the five days is wearing on her too. If it were spring it would be easier to deal with, but it's been a harsh couple of winter day and it's kept us from having company until later in the week.
  If I had any doubt that she was down today, she also managed to put a hole in her bed and pull out some stuffing. Not a lot before I caught her, but enough that she got a time out and I had to put her bed up. Back to square one on the sleeping situation.
  I'm hoping this funk will pass quickly for her. But I do have to work the next couple of days. Say a prayer for us?

P.S. On the funnier side of today, I think Season 3 of Once has some of my favourite Hook quotes. Namely: "Actually I quite fancy you sometimes, when you're not yelling at me." and "I take it by your tone perms are bad?"
